Open call to artists to use darkness as an artistic material.
Artists Collective Kolonin is looking for three artists artists to participate in the light event ”Arvika Ljus!” birthplace of light, rather than its opposite or even its enemy. Become friends with the dark, rather than fearit.or a company that give acces to their place. It is also possible to apply with an existing work. In that case the One of Kolonins goals is to lower the thresholds for contemporary art for the local community. With the project
Arvika Ljus! we want to take the art in to the street, outside its own safe zone, and the collaboration withthe local actors that provide space for the light festival, is therefore an important part of the concept.
